This book is a revelation. A real good read. It is all-encompassing; intellectually stimulating, spiritually satisfying, as well as emotionally gratifying. It touched a part of my soul when I experienced the peace that was described and expressed when Tassie played the lullaby for Sefa. N. Maria Kwami graciously portrayed an array of social issues that make us human, the experiences of which offer us a "shift in perspective" or consciousness that can save us from undue suffering as a result of the need to judge others, and the burden of self-reproach.- Tina Tehoda
